Refund policy

Each Notchd Studio piece is designed, engraved, and packed by hand in my WA home studio. Because every order is personalised, returns and refunds work a little differently than standard retail.

Personalised & Custom Items

  • All personalised and custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged for change of mind.
  • Please double-check spelling, dates, and details before placing your order, as I engrave exactly what is entered at checkout.
  • Unfortunately, returns are not accepted on sale items or gift cards.

Faulty or Damaged Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your order is faulty, damaged, or not as described:

  • Email notchdstudio@outlook.com within 7 days of delivery.
  • Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging.
  • Once reviewed, I’ll arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no extra cost to you.

Non-Personalised Items

For any non-personalised products (if offered):

  • Returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging.
  • Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.

Exchanges

The quickest way to exchange an item is to return it (if eligible) and place a new order once your return has been accepted.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
  • Please allow up to 10 business days for funds to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, contact me at notchdstudio@outlook.com.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major problem.
  • A repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the problem is not major.

This policy applies in addition to your rights under the ACL.
